Your Business deserves Better Results
Welcome to our 2025 sale lineup of Charolais bulls.
Without doubt this lineup of bulls has a genetic makeup that will impress all breeders. Every year we work hard to improve the traits that will lift your opportunities whether you are selling at the weaner sales or taking your cattle all the way to slaughter.
The demand for Charolais cross beef remains strong, both domestically and internationally. The breed's reputation for significantly improving growth has solidified its position in the market, making Charolais cattle a sound investment for producers, along with hybrid vigor leads to a more productive herd, allowing farmers to capitalize on the strengths of multiple breeds.
Currently as Weight is paying at the sale yards and heavy carcase weight is also proving to be more profitable than pursuing high marbling cattle. Every year we see demand for Charolais cross cattle calves as they perform for the finisher and if fed well, will easily finish before the second winter.
We have always aimed for high growth with high carcase bulls that will provide for both the cow-calf operator and the finisher.
Last year and this year continues, where we are being paid more for manufacturing meat than prime. We’re not sure how long this will last, maybe for a while as the world is demanding for that type of product with the burger industry at an all-time high. So, using a Charolais bull over your third-cycle cows is certainly a great option to identify the late cows, and at the same time produce a high-valued animal for the finisher.
We will continue to see pressure with the beef on dairy calves coming through with more and more being reared, so it's imperative that we can produce calves that perform very well for the finisher, so they come back year after year.
I always say that your business is a brand, and your clients are the buyers of your product, so you need to make it such a good product that they need you and keep coming back year after year.
We seek the best bulls around the world for calving ease, as well as growth and carcass, and with my annual trip to America this year, I have found another bull that will continue and help improve the performance that I am looking for. These are the main factors that you get paid for, so choose wisely with your bull selection, our industry has done a complete reversal compared to last year, so the volatility is another reason that the bulls you buy now have a direct impact on your farm's income for the future.
